Where Is Alum Cave Trail?
Located off Newfound Gap Road (US-441) between Gatlinburg, TN and Cherokee, NC, Alum Cave Trail sits inside Great Smoky Mountains National Park. From Gatlinburg, drive 8.6 miles south on US-441. From Cherokee, drive 20 miles north. The trailhead lot fills up fast — arrive early.
